I'm new to triops I've been raising them for about 2 months and they've been fine up until now it seems like they broke their tail it curls up under them they look kind of like the letter u it seems like they're having trouble molting but up until now everything has been fine this is only been the past week other ones are fine they're molting just fine what could be wrong?

Could be anything. From what you've described it seems like a molting accident. This could be due to old age, lack of calcium or any number of reasons. Unfortunately, Triops have pretty short life cycles so your guy might just be getting old.

At two months, it's probably old age maybe combined with sub optimal water conditions. If they are two months old and you don't have a filter on the tank and aren't doing frequent water changes, their lifespans will certainly be shortened by the water conditions. Still, two months isn't a bad lifespan for triops :) .
