I got mice last month! Here's the latest tank shots. The girls' tank: ![]() ^^^The pirate ship is a birdhouse from Michael's. I got it in the wooden model section. It's made with untreated wood, and the decorating was done entirely with a woodburner rather than with ink or paint. All my females are named after flowers, so I've christened the ship the S.S. Fleur, but I've also carved "THE POOP DECK" into the back of the ship. Also, if you care to know, that wheel is the very safest style of mesh wheel on the market, at least that I know of, and you can find it here: http://www.amazon.com/Prevue-Hamster-Gerbil-Wheel-8/dp/B000QFQCD8/ref=pd_sim_sbs_petsupplies_4]http://www.amazon.com/Prevue-Hamster-Gerbi...s_petsupplies_4 It's not risk-free, but it's still very low-risk, and most mice get more exercise and stimulation with mesh wheels - my girls love to grip the wire and spin loops! This is the stuff at the back of my boy's tank: ![]() And this is what it looks like after I add the other stuff: ![]() More pics: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Great mouse info can be found at thefunmouse.com. |
