Since a few of you have been asking for a chat room feature, I've wanted to give it a go, but I don't have the technical skills to add one to the site. So, I've stumbled through the process of getting an IRC chat room through the site "StarChat." Our chat room's name is The-Triops-Forum. To access it as a javachat user, use the following link: http://www.starchat.net/chat/index.php?chan=The-Triops-Forum To access it as a WebTV user, use the following link: http://www.starchat.net/wtv/wtv.php?chan=The-Triops-Forum You do not need to register. Simply choose a nickname (preferably your username on TTF) and sign in. Happy chatting! |

Thanks! Don't be surprised if you see more tweaks and nitpicky changes; I'll keep fiddling with it till I'm happy with it. |

I go there a couple times a day. I try to be on as much as I can, but I have school now. If we didn't live all over the planet in different time zones, I'd try and make a weekly chat hour.

Same here. But feel free to take a poll and see if you can't get some folks together at a mutually agreeable time! |

A few questions, why are you using java? It's sort of slow to load. Second, why not do something different? I just don't think Java is the right choice. |

yay!
If you see a user called "@LilGreenPuffer," then you can be certain that it's me. Other users here can share their registered nicknames, too, if they decide to register. Otherwise, you can't be sure that the person in the chat room is the person you've been talking to here, so please be careful with sharing personal information. Use your common sense and follow the community guidelines :whome:, and everything should be peachy!
If we didn't live all over the planet in different time zones, I'd try and make a weekly chat hour.
