Blue triop!

Here is my blue T.long . Was a very pale blue however after a while it coloured up a bit better. Please note I did not dye,artificially colour triop however it was housed in my tiger shrimp tank which does have 1 or 2 blue ornaments

oh wow thats sooo pretty. get some eggs and see if u can get repeat results.... this is quite exciting. although i understand it could be the water and food. no harm trying. :D

Thanks, i too think its food and enviromental factors but when the triop was 1 week old there was a mild blue tint = P , im trying to get eggs from her (hopefully)

Been several months since now, did you end up with any eggs? Were you able to recreate the results? Nice colour, no matter how it got that way, but super cool if it's genetic.
Do you have Triops that are different than those shown? Please show me!
