I bought some Killifish a few weeks ago and they have arrived in the mail (the funny thing is, is that it got shipped somehow to my fathers work and alot of his employees were puzzled when they found a package from Thailand) Does anybody have any experience from raising them? I've done a little research but I want a second opinion/experience. I have the Beria 98 kind. Any tips is appreciated!
If there is another apocalypse and mass extinction, I have no doubt in my mind that my triops will live, and populate the post apocalyptic earth....and then..... They EVOLVE

absolutly not
most of the peat spawning killies are pretty easy. any clean filtered water will usualy do. most species like soft acidic water but neutral will usualy suffice.
only part that is tricky is getting em past the first few days.
I like to have a artima nupli(baby brine shrimp) culture, smaller ostracods, or daphnia pulex started ahead of time so there is some live food availible.
once their large enough i have kept them with guppys, dainos and other similar sized killies before. tends to make it easier to get them to eat prepared foods this way.
they can usualy be transistioned to a good quality flake food or frozen bloodworlms.
some times there shy so having java moss, riccia or other fine textured plant matter for the fry to hide in can be benifical.
best of luck they are mad pretty fish!
